The son of a Delhi Police Sub-inspector and a constable were sentenced to death on Saturday by a local court in Muzaffarnagar for killing a pregnant girl about two years ago.

District Judge RD Nimesh, who convicted them on Friday for killing Jyoti Arora, awarded capital punishment to Sandeep, son of the SI, Virendra Singh Nagar, and constable Sashi Bhusan, observing that, "it was a rarest of rare case".
