These included orchestra presentation, Indian bride and bridegroom competitions and a glimpse of Madhya Pradesh. Lauding the institution, Principal Secretary Higher Education Dr Bhagirath Prasad said despite limited resources a good number of students here have excelled.
Barkatullah University Vice Chancellor RS Sirohi congratulated the students who were conferred degrees and expressed hope that they would do the institution proud by their work in future.
Higher Education, Commissioner SN Mishra was also present on the occasion. Director Dr Pramila Maini read out the annual report on the institute’s achievements and activities.
Gold medallist students of 2005 and 2006 were also honoured at the function. In the bridal competition 18 students participated. Shruti Khajari (Chhattisgarhi bride) won the first prize followed by Kancha Kalra (Himachal Pradesh bride) and Mira Mani (Malayali bride).
In the bridegroom event, 20 boys took part. Karan Jodhani was first while Lokesh Mule and Ankur Jain stood second and third respectively. Madhya Pradesh a glimpse was aimed at showcasing various cultures of the State to mark its golden jubilee.
