Rajeev Khandelwal’s second film Peter Gaya Kaam Se after Aamir, has had to be pushed from October 1 to January 2009 because the film’s British director couldn’t get his visa and work permit on time.
Director John Oven couldn’t get the essential papers. In addition, the film’s leading lady has not been finalised yet. On being contacted, Vikas Bahl of the film’s production company, Spotboy, denied that Oven’s visa and permit had delayed the film:
“John’s papers are in order. The delay is minor. It’s like me coming to office two hours late.”
Delay for convenience
He however did confirm that the film’s shooting was to start by October 1 and wrapped up by December 20. “But we realised that we would have to cut the shoot short once the holiday season begins in Goa next month.
Since we wanted to film in a start-to-finsih schedule, we thought it would be better to get going in mid-January. The New Year revelry will end by January 10 and we can start shooting on the 15th” Bahl points out.
