Delhi assembly polls: AAP’s Q&A session via Google Hangout

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday took its election campaign through social media to the next level even as it announced the names of six more candidates for the coming assembly elections in Delhi.
Manish Sisodia, candidate from Patparganj in east Delhi, will conduct a question and answer session via Google Hangout for his constituency on Friday evening. The party has been extensively using various social media techniques to reach out to its supporters.
The party got its fix of celebrity candidate in the form of Praveen Kumar, who had played the character ‘Bheem’ in the famous teleserial Mahabharat. The Arjuna awardee will contest from Wazirpur.
The party announced names for five other constituencies. Rakhi Birla, a television journalist, will be AAP’s candidate from Mangolpuri; Mohan Krishna Sharma, a social worker, from Badli; Vikram Badhwar, associated with a number of traders’ associations, from Chandni Chowk; Sunil Pokhariyal, a social activist, from Palam and Laxmi Narayan Sharma, earlier associated with the Labour Party of India, will contest from Gonda assembly constituency, an AAP statement said.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has so far announced the names of candidates for 53 of the 70 assembly constituencies of Delhi. The party will contest all 70 seats.
