Delhi University releases second cut-off list

The Delhi University late on Thursday night released the second cut-off list for the admission for the new academic year even as nearly 80 per cent of its 43,000 seats were filled up in last three days.

The first phase of the admission process ended on Thursday evening, said SK Verma, deputy dean of students' welfare at the university.

"We are releasing the second cut-off late on Thursday so that students can get the list by Friday morning," said an official of the university registrars' office.

In the second cut off list, the Kirori Mal College showed a decrease of one per cent point for an entry to B.Com. (Hons) that is between 92.25 per cent and 93.25 per cent.

In the Sri Ram College of Commerce, all the seats have been filled up and in Hindu College there is no vacancy in B.Com (Hons), B.Com (Pass), Economics (Hons), English (Hons), Philosophy (Hons), Political Science (Hons), Sociology (Hons) and Psychology (Hons).

At the Lady Sriram College, courses like Hindi, Philosophy and Sanskrit are yet to be filled up.

The admission process in the second phase will continue till July 4.
