RJD chief Lalu Prasad has likened the right wing RSS to the Anopheles mosquito and the Congress party to the "more dangerous" Aedes mosquito.

"The Congress is like the Aedes mosquito that bites people unawares, causing the killer dengue disease, while the RSS is like the Anopheles mosquito, which bites with a buzzing sound, causing the less dreaded malaria," he said.

Prasad said the Ayodhya verdict, which awarded two-thirds of the land to Hindus, had left the Muslims disappointed.

"The Congress has given nothing to anybody. Be it minorities or anybody else. It is now caught in a cobweb."

Prasad also said that both Congress and BJP were two sides of the same coin.

"Voting for the Congress will be like helping the BJP," he said.
