Girlfriend Bipasha Basu is not the only one that's on lover boy John Abraham's mind. There is someone else too that the hot dude is obsessed with. And that special someone is a man! Curious to know more? Follow on...
Biking no more!
We all know that other than Bips, John is crazy about football and bikes. But here he discloses his latest obsession - Cricket. The actor has become a big cricket buff. He makes it a point to take time out from his schedule to watch the matches.
Mahi all the way...
But who is behind bringing him so close to the game? "I give all the credit to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, present Indian wicketkeeper. I think when he plays in his full form; it's really a nightmare for the opponents. His stamina, guts and daring performance on the field is praiseworthy. He brought me so close to the game that now I enjoy watching cricket matches. Earlier I was too much into football but today I like both the games.
I have met Dhoni several times and I found him to be a wonderful person and an amazing cricketer. We are very close. He has gifted me the bat with which he scored the highest 183 runs of his career in a match in Sri Lanka. I have kept that bat as a souvenir of our good friendship," says John.
'Bips cool about my obsession'
So Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who he lovingly calls 'Mahi', has become John best pal today. Fortunately for John, Bipasha doesn't take his new obsession a new challenge to her love. "She is quite comfortable about my craze and love for other things," explains John.
Football out, cricket in!
Talking about his latest craze for cricket, he says, "As far as football is concerned, I have been playing this game since childhood. I have played football up to the state level and I used to be part of the Maharashtra team for inter-state football matches."
Since we have let this secret out to everyone about John's latest obsession, John also has something to reveal about 'Mahi'. "As far as I know him, he is 99 percent a biker like me and only one percent cricketer," quips Abraham.
