Leonardo DiCaprio is in the early stages of talks with Warner Bros who want him to team up with director Ridley Scott for their next venture, a screen adaptation of David Ignatius' novel Body of Lies.
The details of DiCaprio's deal are yet to be fully worked out, but apparently he has found time to fit the film into his already busy schedule and hopes to shoot it in the fall, reports www.hollywood.tv.
Scott is already in Morocco scouting for locations and will also be checking out places in Europe, Washington and the Middle East.
In the film scripted by William Monahan, who won an Oscar for The Departed, DiCaprio plays a CIA agent sent to work with Jordan's intelligence chief in Amman to track down an Al Qaeda leader who is rumoured to be planning attacks against the US.
Later this month, the Oscar winning actor is teaming once again with his Titanic co-star Kate Winslet for Revolutionary Road. The film is being directed by Winslet's husband Sam Mendes.
