DIG selected for police medal

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Inter-State Border Force, SN Sabat has been selected for the Indian Police Medal (IPM) for the year 2006. He has been selected for the award following his meritorious services with police department.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) for Inter-State Border Force, SN Sabat has been selected for the Indian Police Medal (IPM) for the year 2006. He has been selected for the award following his meritorious services with police department.

Sabat will be conferred the award by the Governor TV Rajeshwar Rao in the ceremonial parade during the ‘Police Week’ celebrations in Lucknow soon.

Sabat has left for Hyderabad to attend a three-day workshop on ‘Improvement of Delivery Services’ scheduled to be held from August 24 to 27.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (AICO), working with local office of Intelligence Bureau, Diwakar Singh, has been also selected for the Indian Police Medal for his distinguished services of 19 years. The official will get the medal from the President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam at a function in New Delhi in October.
