Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh has asked three party MLAs from Madhya Pradesh to go to Uttar Pradesh as observers.

The legislators are N P Prajapati, Govind Singh and Ashwin Joshi.

Confirming this, Prajapati told PTI today that they have been asked by Digvijay Singh, in-charge of Congress affairs in Uttar Pradesh, to work as observers in some areas in the BSP-ruled state, where the party is trying to revive itself ahead of the 2012 Assembly polls.

Prajapati said the date for their departure would be finalised soon.
