Dish TV announces new package

Dish TV, the DTH platform of Zee Telefilms, on Saturday announced its new package for CAS notified areas in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata.

In a statement, Dish TV spokesperson, said the new packages are available only in CAS notified areas and is applicable for a limited period.

Under the down payment offer, on monthly subscription of one month, the consumer can get service for six months, provided the person pays for hardware cost of Rs 2,950 plus Rs 200 installation charged.

Under the easy payment officer, the equipment will be available for Rs 1,300 as upfront payment and thereafter, a monthly rental of Rs 35 will be charged for a period of five years. The rental will be charged along with the subscription.

Dish TV also announced that for second, third or fourth television the additional subscription charge would be Rs 100 for per television set and Rs 6,000 for hardware.

The monthly subscription package is two-tiered - first of Rs 210 plus taxes for 85 channels and second for Rs 240 for 125 channels.

Earlier, Tata Sky had announced similar concessions for CAS notified areas including free subscription for a period of six months. The multi-service operators (MSOs), on their part, has also announced special offers for CAS areas.
