Infidelity is set to cost Tiger Woods millions as the shamed golfer’s devastated wife Elin may demand half of his earnings of the past five years when she files for divorce.
According to a report in The Mirror, Elin has contacted a top celebrity divorce lawyer in California. “Elin could get half the 337.5 million pounds he has earned in the five years they have been married,” the report stated.
The 29-year-old Swede, spotted recently without her wedding ring fuelling speculation of a seperation from the golfer, who has been romatically linked to 14 women so far.
Tiger has taken an “indefnite break” from golf to save his marriage but if reports are to be believed, Elin is in no mood to forgive her husband’s “trangressions”.
Reports say Elin will meet celebrity lawyer Sorrell Trope next week. “Trope, 82, a partner in Californian law firm Trope and Trope, has represented big-name stars including Cary Grant, Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage and Britney Spears in a 60-year career,” the report said.
Elin plans to file for divorce in California instead of Florida, where the couple resides.
