The disastrous fate of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai seems to have shaken Govinda to such an extent that he’s gone back to Salman Khan to rescue him once again.
News in the trade is that Govinda has requested Khan to create a role for him in his next movie, Veer, directed by Anil Sharma.
A source close to the actor-politician says that after the success of Partner, Govinda was on a high. But unfortunately for him, things didn’t go the way he anticipated vis-à-vis his subsequent releases. He is also not too thrilled with the kind of projects he’s signed on and is keen to work with big names so he can have a safe run.
Khan, who has written Veer, apart from acting in it, is keen to make room for the actor. Before flying off to shoot for London Dreams, he even had a word with director Sharma.
“Salman was keen that Govinda be accommodated in Veer and also ensured that his actor-friend speak to Anilji to work out a role for him. But Anilji felt that there’s no suitable role for Govinda to play in the film,” informs the source.
So as of now, there’s no role for Govinda in Veer.. but then, one can
never say never in our tinsel town.
