Karnataka medium pacer Dodda Ganesh announced his retirement from first-class cricket on Sunday. Ganesh represented India in four Tests and a limited overs game in 1997.

Karnataka medium pacer Dodda Ganesh announced his retirement from first-class cricket on Sunday.

Ganesh represented India in four Tests and a limited overs game in 1997.

He took 365 wickets in 104 Ranji matches for his home state.

A Janata Dal (S) member, Ganesh said he intends to pursue an active political career.
