Class 12 board examinations are like a grand finale to our 14 years of school education. I am happy to participate in them as I believe there has to be a platform to gauge our knowledge, skill and understanding. From setting of question papers to evaluation of answer scripts, everything is carried out by teachers not known to the students. There is a neutral body assessing me - no preconception, no partiality and no any bias.
Class 12th board exam is the first taste of stiff competition. From school to college, to workplace, competition is unavoidable. It's totally up to us whether we want to brood over this or strive to give our best. One should try work hard and push the boundaries but in doing so he or she should lose herself in the process.
Often to show others, in our case society, relatives and friends, that how ambitious we are, we lose our sleep over examinations. We think that the whole world is judging us on the basis of what we score. Instead of letting others' expectations worry us, we must take the charge of the situation and decide what we want in our lives.
So friends, who will be appearing for the boards examinations this year, mark my words- don't make yourself vulnerable to societal expectations, set your own standards and achieve them!
