'Aap gaadi start mat kariye jab tak hum bolega nahin', (Do not start the train till we tell you) is what suspected Maoists told K Ananda Rao, the driver of the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Rajdhani Express after they reportedly stopped and boarded the prestigious train.

Rao, who denied reports of firing taking place in the vicinity of the train also said that though "everything is peaceful" here the train is yet to resume its journey.

"They told me 'aap gaadi start mat kariye jab tak hum bolega nahin'. Everything is peaceful here but the train has not started as yet," Rao said.

Armed activists of a Maoist-backed group had stopped the Rajdhani Express for several hours in a hostage-type situation in a jungle area in West Midnapore district.
