Aamir Khan doesn't want people to watch the re-released version of his career's second film Raakh for he feels that the person holding the rights of the movie is being opportunistic and is trying to make a quick buck by releasing the film during the strike.

Released in 1989, Raakh was Aamir's second film after Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.

Aamir also pointed out that the multiplexes might buy into the film in order to try and score a point over him and the unity of the producers.

The film is being re-released by Palador Pictures and has been digitally re-mastered to suit contemporary viewing standards.
