A tale of love, loss, hope and redemption, the film revolves around two women from two different worlds. Zeenat (Gul Panag) is a self-assured young woman from Himachal Pradesh, who lives life on her own terms. Meera (Ayesha Takia), on the other hand, is a simple, girl who lives in a strict Rajput set-up.
Suddenly, in ways the two women could never imagine, their worlds are about to collide. A piece of news reaches both at the same time, setting into motion a series of events that change their lives forever. Zeenat undertakes a journey to find Meera, who is the wife of a person her husband has been accused of killing in Saudi Arabia.

According to the laws there, if a relative of the victim forgives the accused, he is pardoned, otherwise he gets a death sentence. So Zeenat undertakes a journey to Rajasthan in search of Meera. Along the way she encounters a

He acts as an invaluable guide to Zeenat and helps her find Meera. The two women form an uncommon bond when they meet. But can it endure the uneasy truth that Zeenat hides?
