Doshi bags coveted YC post

DR HEMANT Doshi won the coveted post of chairman in a neck-to-neck fight in the hotly contested elections for the post of four office-bearers and five members of the managing committee of the most prestigious club of the central India region ? Yeshwant Club (YC) - held here on Sunday.

DR HEMANT Doshi won the coveted post of chairman in a neck-to-neck fight in the hotly contested elections for the post of four office-bearers and five members of the managing committee of the most prestigious club of the central India region – Yeshwant Club (YC) - held here on Sunday.

Two panels were in the ring for the coveted post of chairman. The panel headed by Tony Manjeet Sachdeva had Pravin Kasliwal running for the post of secretary, Kulvinder Singh Gill for the post of joint secretary and Santosh Wagle for the post of treasurer.

Those in the fray for managing committee members from this panel include Dr Divakar Shah, Sandeep Ganediwala, Sanjay Gorani, Tejvir Juneja and Vasu Gangwani.

The panel headed by Dr Hemant Doshi had Bholu Mehta running for the post of secretary, Manish Baheti for the post of joint secretary and Rajkumar Gupta for the post of treasurer. Those in the fray for managing committee members from this panel include Dr Arun Agarwal, Ram Airen, Manohar Hemnani, Sandeep Parekh and Ashwini Puranik.

Pravin Kasliwal won the post of secretary, Santosh Wagle that of treasurer and Gill that of joint secretary. Sandeep Parikh, Sanjay Gorani, Sanjay Gandediwal, Tejveer Juneja and Vasudev Gangwani were elected to the managing committee. YC member Yeshwant Kaushik gave information about the results over phone at 10 pm.
