DPS students beat the heat in style
?THE BEAT the Heat? summer camp at Delhi Public School (DPS), Kalyanpur, concluded on Wednesday. A lively party and presentations by students were organised. The evening was graced by pro vice chairman Mukhtarul Amin, Shaina Amin and school principal Archana Nigam.The summer camp, organised by the school, was a 10-day programme making the students learn while having fun.

The evening was graced by pro vice chairman Mukhtarul Amin, Shaina Amin and school principal Archana Nigam.The summer camp, organised by the school, was a 10-day programme making the students learn while having fun.The students were trained in various activities. The Ken’n Barbie group had the tiny tots bringing colours alive with their artwork, rocking the floor with music and dance, and tickling the taste buds with creative cooking.
They were also taught to be perfect in speech and style and venture into the world of computers and calligraphy. Finally, there was a cool splash in the toddlers’ pool to actually ‘Beat the Heat’.
For the seniors, the choice was even wider, ranging from fitness activities like swimming, table tennis, lawn tennis, cricket to football and basketball. These taught them perfect harmony of the mind and body and aesthetic stimulation through art, painting and sculpture. Besides, there was skating, dancing, instrumental and vocal music. There were also personality development classes.
