Drunk cop hits three with jeep in Madhya Pradesh

An inebriated police constable allegedly created ruckus at Rajpura village in Damoh. Recklessly driving a police jeep, he damaged two shops, injured three people and crushed three bikes under the jeep.

An inebriated police constable allegedly created ruckus at Rajpura village in Damoh on Sunday. Recklessly driving a police jeep, he damaged two shops, injured three people and crushed three bikes under the jeep.

The condition of two of the injured, Kallu and Gulla, was serious and they were referred to Damoh district hospital. Accused Ashok Singh, constable of Rajpura police station, recklessly drove police jeep MP 03 A 0230 near the village bus stand.

Meanwhile, police rushed to the spot. Damoh SP Siddharth Bahuguna told HT that he had ordered medical examination of the constable and suitable action would be taken against him.
