East London feels like some Kiwi town

We are now in East London. It was a good win over Kolkata Knight Riders. We played pretty well and are pretty excited to go atop the table.
It is my first time ever in East London. I am just soaking in the sights and sounds. Our hotel is right on the beach, so it is a good way to wake up in the morning.
We cancelled our practice for the day and instead decided to take it easy. Some boys went to the gym, while others went surfing. And some others went to play a round of golf.
The thing that strikes me about towns like Port Elizabeth and East London is the similarity to some towns in New Zealand. They are pretty sleepy towns and have a unique character about them. But the climatic conditions, beaches make it unique in some sense.
I have not had much time to go out with my family. But you know, at times it does get a little difficult moving out with a young baby. But we do go for short walks.
All the guys are enjoying their time off and, with quite a few wives and partners joining, the team feels more like a family. AB, our local guide, will not have much to do for now. He hasn’t had a chance to plan something for us.
I am hearing that something is being planned for us as we go along and reach Johannesburg and Pretoria. AB might be taking the entire team or a few guys to a game park. We are all hoping the trip works out, because it will be a good outing. TCM
