The nomination process for the second phase of Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka began on Thursday with the Election Commission issuing the notification.
Eleven out of total 28 constituencies will go to polls in the second phase on on April 30, officials said.
The last date for filing of nomination is April 9 and withdrawal is April 13. The scrutiny of papers will be held on April 11.
An estimated 1.52 crore electorate is involved in the second phase in the constituencies of Bagalkot, Haveri, Dharwad, Davanagere, Shimoga, Udupi-Chikmagalur, Hassan, Dakshina Kannada, Mandya, Mysore and Chamarajanagar (SC).
In the first phase, polling will be held on April 23 in 17 constituencies.
