Eight killed, 12 injured in mishaps in Rajasthan

Eight persons including three children were today killed and 12 others injured in five separate mishaps.

Eight persons including three children were today killed and 12 others injured in five separate mishaps.

Five persons were killed and four injured in four separate accidents in Jaipur alone.

Three children were killed and eight others including two teachers injured, when a school bus in which they were travelling collided head-on with a truck near Kuchaman town in Nagaur, 125 kilometres from here.

Victims were rushed to nearby hospital where Raghav, Krishna Kumar and Mukesh, (all 10-years-old) declared brought dead, police said, adding, condition of injured was stated to be stable.

Two persons including a youth were killed and four others injured here, when a car in which they were travelling collided with a truck, police said.

In another accident in the Pink City, two motorcycle riders were crushed to death by a mini bus and a truck.

In the fourth mishap, a Rajasthan Roadways bus crushed one cycle rider identified as Nawab(25), police said.
