Emerald Heights students win three throwball titles

EMERALD HEIGHTS International School won three titles in the interschool throwball tournament held at the Nehru Stadium. Emerald Heights won the title in the under-17 boys and girls and under-19 girls? categories.

EMERALD HEIGHTS International School won three titles in the interschool throwball tournament held at the Nehru Stadium. Emerald Heights won the title in the under-17 boys and girls and under-19 girls’ categories.

In the under-17 boys’ category, the school defeated St Marino Public School, Digamber Public School and Bhawan’s Prominent School to win the title. In the girls’ event, the school defeated New Digamber and Bhawan’s Prominent .

Inter-school volleyball
PANDEY SHRINIWAS Jain memorial district-level interschool volleyball tournament organized by Sanmati Higher Secondary School will begin September 21. School principal informed that the tournament is organised every year in memory of Pandey Shriniwas Jain.

Aishwarya shines
AISHWARYA AGARWAL of Indore performed well in the first leg of the Junior Asian Tennis Championship held in Dhaka (Bangladesh). In the singles event, she moved up to the semifinal. In the semifinal, she lost to Korean girl while in doubles Aishwarya-Ashim pair lost in the final to Korean pair to finish second. 

Archery competition
REGIONAL ARCHERY competition organised by the education department will begin on September 20 at St Umar Higher Secondary School. The competition will be held for boys and girls in the age group of 14 years.

Mayor football
MAYOR CHALLENGE TROPHY football tournament organised by Indore Blues Football Club will begin on September 20 at Nehru Stadium. The tournament will conclude on September 30. 32 teams are taking part in the tournament.

Fed Cup carrom
THE XIV All-India Federation Cup carrom competition organised by Madhya Pradesh Carrom Association will begin on September 20 at Parinay Resort. Around 45 teams from all over India will take part in the tournament.

Ankita shines
ANIKTA DESHPANDE of St Arnold’s Higher Secondary School won the third position in the U-15 doubles event pairing with Rashi Bafna in the 4th National Ranking Badminton tournament. The school management and teachers have congratulated Ankita for her brilliant performance.
