CITY CONGRESS organised an Iftar party and felicitated citizens of different religions today as a mark of communal harmony. On the occasion, City Congress president Pramod Tandon said that every Indian should respect all religions and stressed that helping the needy is the best form of worship.
Party felicitated Padmshri Babulal Patodi, City quazi Dr Ishrat Ali, Swami Ujjwal Maharaj, Ma Pragya Devi, Father R D Prasad, former Inspector General Surjit Singh, Pandit Bhavani Kashyap, Inder Singh Chhabra, Ashok Patni, Haji Bashir Mansuri and Sardar Jasbirsingh Gandhi and DAVV former vice-chancellor Prof Abbasi.
The programme was conducted by City Congress general secretary Mahendrasingh Raghuvanshi. City Congress spokesman Rajesh Chouksey proposed a vote of thanks.
