Additionaly the cargo capacity has increased to over 220 tonnes per week accordingly, Emirates said in a release here. Emirates also operates its flights to Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.
Last year the airlines also revised the flight timings as well as check-in time at the counters to avoid congestion and delays for its customers.

Orhan Abbas, Emirates, Vice President, India and Nepal said the augmented frequency is the result of the ever increasing demand for passengers to travel from the city.
