Four Maoists, including one allegedly involved the August 29 Lakhisarai encounter, were arrested from the district today, police said.
Gaurav Raj, hailing from Ghatwari in Munger district, and three others were picked up at Khudiban village in the district, DGP Neelmani told PTI in Patna.
Raj was one of the Maoist suspects involved in the August 29 encounter in which seven policemen were killed and four others abducted by the ultras.
The ultras, later, killed one of the abducted.
While one of the Maoists have been identified as Nandu Thakur -- a resident of Khudiban, the exact identity of the other two was still being ascertained, Superintendent of Police, Ranjeet Kumar Mishra said.
The four were putting up a poster at a polling station at Khudiban village calling for boycott of the Assembly polls when they were rounded up, the SP said, adding Naxal literature and posters calling for poll boycott were seized from them.
So far, 16 Maoists including two self-styled area commanders have been arrested in connection with the Lakhisarai encounter.
