A police team from Delhi has picked up an engineering student for questioning in connection with an alleged objectionable message sent by him to President Pratibha Patil, police said on Thursday.

The boy, a native of Mysore City and studying in a private engineering in Bangalore, has been brought to the city, police said but did not elaborate.

The allegedly objectionable message was sent from a website in Mysore to the cellphone of the President. The email ID was traced to a cybercafe in Chamaraja Mohalla area in Mysore, police said.

All computers in the cafe were seized by police.
