Army's Delta Force in association with Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL) has launched "Chenab super 30 programme" to provide an 11-month free residential coaching for clearing the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) for youth of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts.

Defence spokesperson said about 1400 students, including 400 girls, appeared in the three- hour entrance test held at all the three districts. The question paper was set by team from CSRL to test knowledge of students in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Defence public relation officer Lt Col Anil Mehta said, "The area lacks quality coaching institutes, therefore the army has taken up the initiative to provide this coaching to the youth. Seminars for the same were held in all three districts."

Interview of the short listed candidates will be held on June 14 and 15 at Ramban.
