Ex-Bihar minister stabbed, prime suspect arrested

Ezaz-ul-Haq, a former Bihar minister, was stabbed in his flat in Patna late on Friday night. The criminals fled with his Scorpio and his licensed revolver. Police are investigating the matter and his condition is stated to be stable.

The incident took place at his Royal Court Apartment Flat in the Shashtri Nagar area.

He is a relative of former Siwan MP Shahabuddin, who is currently in jail.

SSP Vikas Vaibhav confirmed the incident and said the prime suspect was arrested with weapon, the Scorpio and a stolen revolver in Ara district. According to sources, the accused was known to the ex-minister.
