ORANGE HOUSE and Green House teams today won their respective matches in the St Michael’s Inter-Academy Cricket Tournament being organised by St Michael’s Cricket Academy (SMCA) at Bab-e-Aali Stadium.

The excitement in the tournament continued on the fifth day. The first match was played between White House and Orange House in the under-13 age category. Batting first, Orange House scored 90 runs in 20 overs. Palash scored the highest of 32 runs for the team.

Chasing the target, White House started the innings by scoring ones and twos. When it looked that the team was heading for an easy win, irresponsible batting by the White House batsmen made the target tough. The team fell short of target by nine runs. For Orange House, Inayat claimed four wickets. Ansar took three wickets.

The second match of the day played between Red House and Yellow House in the under-15 age category was a one-sided tie. Batting first, Red House were all out for 78 runs in 25 overs. For Yellow House, Taha claimed three wickets.

Chasing the small target, a quick-fire 30 by Inam ensured win for the Yellow House in just 8.3 overs. Yellow House won the match by six wickets.

In the last match, White House defeated Orange House by eight wickets. Chasing the 65-run target, White House reached it by losing just two wickets.
