Cut, snipe, shoot!
80 designers, 59 models, twin runway...boy, it is surely getting bigger each year, but the better is yet to be decided!

With the split between FDCI and Lakme (former sponsor for fashion week) resulting in a separate Fashion Week in Mumbai, the Delhi Fashion Week is just about in time.

To be held at The Grand, from April 5-9, it’s definitely going to define new norms of style.

Fashion designers, often condescendingly called as "glorified darzis", are ready to display their best creations –Prêt and diffusion—catering to International as well as Indian markets. Also in the limelight are our body luscious models—who will also be at their 'dare bare' best.

Let's take a sneak peak into what the big and not-to-so-big names of the fash-frat have to offer...

UNITED COLOURS
If Rabani & Rakha's line is full of pearly whites, shimmering ivory and glistening beige in varied silhouettes ranging from saris to churidar-kurtas, Delhi-based Jattin Kochar's fall-winter'06 collection is all about vibrant hues. Cherry, olive green, burgundy, fudgy brown, deep blue, nude, vanilla and lots of black comprises Kochar's colour palette.
