One more FIR has been registered against actor and Samajwadi Party leader Sanjay Dutt for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati during an election rally in Barabanki.

The FIR against SP National General Secretary has been registered at Tikaitnagar police station here for violating model code of conduct by making derogatory statement during his election speech in Barabanki on Monday.

Dutt had said, he wanted to give “jadu ki jhappi” to the Chief Minister and made some other remarks, which were “derogatory”, police said.

Earlier, an FIR was registered against Dutt in Pratapgarh for making “objectionable and derogatory” remarks against the Chief Minister during an election rally on April 16.

Another FIR was registered against Dutt in Mau district for making communal remarks.

The 49-year-old actor had allegedly said that he was given third degree torture by the police when he was in custody, as his mother was a Muslim.
