Several lakh worth of goods were destroyed in a major fire that broke out at the fourth floor of a commercial building at the busy Ranganathan Street in Chennai.
Several lakh worth of goods were destroyed in a major fire that broke out at the fourth floor of a commercial building at the busy Ranganathan Street in Chennai earty on Monday.
However, no loss of life was reported, police said.

More than 20 fire tenders were pressed into service to put out the flames, police said.
Investigations were on to find out the cause for the fire, they said.
