Five hostages rescued

Security forces on Sunday stormed a house in Sambha district in Jammu region and rescued all the five hostage, including three women, from militants' clutches, official sources said.

The militants, who had sneaked from across the boder into Jammu region on May nine, had taken five people hostage after gunning down a couple.

Intermittent firing was on between militants holed up in the under-contruction house and security forces, the sources said.
IGP (Jammu) K Rajendra and DIG Farooq Khan were present at the scene, they said.
