With a low pressure area forming over the coast of Andhra Pradesh, the weatherman today issued warning of heavy rainfall in all south Bengal districts in the next two days.
"A low pressure has formed over the Andhra coast and it is expected to move towards the Orissa coastal area in the next 24 hours," Regional Meteorological Centre director G C Debnath said on Wednesday.
Under its influence, all south Bengal districts in the gangetic belt were likely to experience heavy rain in the next 48 hours, he said.
