Rich tributes were paid to late Prem Singh, former- Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS) on his death anniversary on Monday at Kubja pavilion Renuka ji by CPS Vinay Kumar, vice-chairman planning commission Gangu Ram Mussafir and district Congress president Ajay Solanki.

Speaking on the occasion CPS Vinay Kumar, Prem Singh's son, said that he would not leave any stone unturned to make the dream of his father come true. Congress leader Gangu Ram Mussafir said the government was committed to make this constituency an ideal one. Six-times MLA of Renuka constituency died on September 23, 2011, at his native village. Th eformer CPS held various important positions in the Congress Party during his 29-year-long political career.

During his tenure as an MLA he also chaired different boards and corporations besides remaining the parliament secretary in the Cabinet of Virbhadra Singh. He was a soft spoken, polite and hard working politician, one of the main reasons why he was popular in his area.
