A former international cricket umpire will appear today in a Brisbane court on 12 child sex charges.
The former umpire, 55, is alleged to have indecently assaulted the four complainants on different occasions between 1974 and 1998, a report in 'The Age' quoted the police.
The offences against the two 14-year-old males are alleged to have occurred in 1974 and the two 16-year-old females in 1983 and 1998.
In relation to one 14-year-old, the man has been charged with five counts of indecent assault on a male under 14 and four sodomy offences.
The accused, who cannot be named under Queensland law, has been charged with one count of indecent assault against the other 14-year-old boy.
He has also been charged with one count each of indecent assault on a female in the cases related to both 16-year-old girls.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
