Four bookies were arrested during a raid here while betting at least Rs 10 million on a cricket World Cup match, police said on Friday.
"Four punters were arrested in a raid on Thursday night. A detailed investigation of paper slips and other documents recovered at a farm house indicated that they were operating satta (gambling) of not less than Rs 10 million," Additional Superintendent of Police (Raipur) Ajatshatru Bahadur told reporters.
