FOUR OF the five UP Board exam evaluation centres in the State capital failed to meet the deadline for their work on Wednesday. The evaluation work that began on April 12 is now expected to end on April 30.

Initially, the board allotted 15 days for the work. But, in most of the centres answer sheets could not be evaluated.

For instance, Sociology and Mathematics answer sheets are yet to be evaluated at Rajkiya Jubilee Inter College. And at Aminabad Inter College, Social Science and Mathematics answer books need to be evaluated.

Evaluation of answer books of four subjects is yet to be completed at the Rajkiya Nishatganj Inter College. Some answer sheets are still to be checked at Rajkiya Hussainabad Inter College as well.

Evaluation work has been completed only at Maharaja Agrasen Inter College. Evaluators of this college have been asked to take up the evaluation work at Rajkiya Nishatganj Inter College.

District inspector of schools Vikas Srivastava confirmed that evaluation was yet to be completed, but said the work would be done shortly.
