Police claimed to have busted a sex racket by arresting four women from NH2 area late on Tuesday night.
Police said that after getting a tip off from reliable sources, they raided a particular house on Tuesday late in the night in the NH2 area and arrested the four women on the spot.
However, one of the women tried to escape, but received minor injuries. She is now receiving treatment at BK hospital. All the four women were remanded to judicial custody on Wednesday. However, no male was arrested from the spot.
Kotwali police has registered a case against all the four women under different sections of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act.
The accused have been identified as Babita of NIT Faridabad, Sujata of Nangla in Faridabad, Preeti of Badarpur and Palika of AC Nagar in Faridabad. The real names have been changed. “A case has been registered against all the four women,” said U Raj, SHO Kotwali.
