Four killed in two road accidents in Aurangabad

Four persons were killed in two separate accidents in last 24 hours in the district, police said on Monday.

A father and son were killed when a speeding truck hit their two wheeler on which they were riding.

This accident took place near Adul village on Monday morning. Janardhan Geete (47) and his son Rajesh (21) were killed on the spot, Police said.

The truck driver tried to flee away from the scene but a kilometer away his speeding truck turned turtle and he was arrested by the police. Pachod police have registered a case and are investigating further.

The other accident took place on Sunday night in Limbejalgaon village. The rider and his pillion rider were killed on the spot when the bike hit a truck from the rear side.

Waluj police had registered a case. Both the deceased are yet to be identified.
