Four labourers run over by train in Varanasi

Four labourers were killed and two others critically injured when a train hit them at a station in Sonebhadra district.

Four labourers were killed and two others critically injured when a train hit them at a station in Sonebhadra district late on Sunday night.

According to reports, some eight labourers were walking on the track near the Shalivana railway station at 10.45 pm when the Gadva-Gomi-Chopan train hit them. According to SP Sonebhadra Raghubir Lal, one labourer escaped unhurt.

He said the labourers were on way to home in Pathravi-Latliganj village in the same district.
