Four undertrial prisoners fled from Siliguri special jail in Darjeeling district early Sunday.

Four undertrial prisoners fled from Siliguri special jail in Darjeeling district early Sunday.

The undertrials - Akash Gurung, Matrika Upreti and Anarul Hawq - were arrested under Narcotic Act and Raju Das of Mohitnagar in Jalpaiguri district for alleged rioting.

They were found missing during the counting of the prisoners this morning, jail officials said.

Jailor T R Bhutia told reporters that all measures were on to recapture the missing undertrials.
