The senior BJP leader Nitin Gadkari, who had landed in a controversy for comparing the IQ level of Swami Vivekananda to that of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim a few months ago, now on Saturday, equated Prime Minister Manmohan Singh with one of the three monkeys of Mahatma Gandhi.

Addressing the party workers in Nagpur on Saturday on the occasion of BJP’s foundation day Gadkari said quoting an SMS received on his cell phone saying "Gandhiji had asked Chitragupta from his heavenly abode, how his three monkeys were doing on the earth."

The BJP leader continued, "the first blinded folded said is like a blind law in the country, second one is mute like Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who does not utter anything and third one is deaf which is the Congress-led UPA government."

Gadkari has earlier also criticised the functioning of Congress led UPA government and attacked Manmohan Singh during his abruptly ended tenure as the party president.

The AICC general secretary Vilas Muttemwar strongly criticized the reported remarks against the prime minister and said that it was unexpected from a senior leader, like Gadkari. “He (Gadkari) should make a public apology for his remarks, “he insisted.
