Games effect: Behaviour and English training for Noida police

In view of the Commonwealth Games, the Noida police is being given behaviour training at Surajpur Police lines. The police has also been given training in English language and Yoga.

In view of the Commonwealth Games, the Noida police is being given behaviour training at Surajpur Police lines. The police has also been given training in English language and Yoga.

A batch of 50 policemen on Tuesday took part at the inaugural session of the three-day training session at the Surajpur police lines. The training was being imparted by Amity Institute of Psychology and Allied Sciences.

"Four major aspects — behaviour, attitude, self management and self analysis — will be taught to them during the three-day training session. They are being taught how to behave with foreign visitors during Commonwealth Games," said R.P. Singh, Amity Institute director and retired director general of .Tihar jail.

One of the participant, Udey Vir Singh Kasana said, "I have learned some English phrases such as Can I help you? Nice to meet you, Where are you from? I'm sorry."

“I have learned how to control my anger and speak politely” said another participant, constable Surinder Singh Mavai.

Senior Superintendent of Police A.K. Singh said, "Training will be imparted to the entire police force, including constables and deputy superintendents of police, in batches."
