Gang of car stereo thieves busted

Police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a gang of car stereo thieves with the arrest of four Bangladeshi nationals from east Delhi.

Police said 12 cases of stereo theft, registered in various police stations of East Delhi, have been solved.

Mohammad Rana (24), Mohammad Raheem Sheikh (24), Mohammad Farukh (22) and Mohammad Aziz (25) were arrested from Mandawali area on August 28 with 27 stolen car stereos.

During interrogation, they confessed their involvement in the theft of 100 car stereos, ECMs and amplifiers from various area of East Delhi. They also revealed that they used to sell the stolen goods at Kabari bazar at Yamuna Velodrome and Meerut.
