Gaur urges Arjun for relief to gas victims

MINISTER FOR Commerce & Industries Babulal    Gaur   has urged Union HRD Minister Arjun Singh to to arrange for the pending    compensation to the Bhopal gas tragedy  victims in the remaining 20 wards.

During a meeting with Singh in New Delhi on Friday, Gaur also sought central assistance to set up a memorial dedicated to the victims of the tragedy.

Gaur also met Union Commerce & Industries Minister Kamal Nath and discussed the long-pending issues. During a meeting with Kamal Nath, Gaur informed about the progress at Pithampur auto cluster.

He also urged him to release the second installment of the VRS dues of the former employees of the State Road Transport Corporation.

Gaur urged him to use his good offices to resume the Mumbai-Bhopal flight and waiving of excise duty for the State on the lines of Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. The minister also met senior party leaders Atal Behari Vajpayee, LK Advani and BJP President Rajnath Singh.
