Praising the initiative, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said, “The

is one of the few newspaper that every Delhiites grabs his hands onto every morning. Love it or hate, you cannot ignore it. It is lovely to see such a plan being created to promote Delhi like this.”

I’d say there’s reason enough for Delhiites to rejoice – this is another step for Delhi to be a brand recognized throughout the world,” said Chairman and Managing Director for Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation Sanat Kaul. The event is supported by Delhi Tourism and has Hutch as the presenting sponsor.

is the radio partner and MTV is the television partner. Barista and Yamaha are also supporting the campaign. “I Love Delhi campaign aims to celebrate the spirit of youth and connect them back with Delhi through a series of events that appeal to them.

The event kicks off with

Youth Nexus

, a three-day Delhi University fest that will see performances from Parikrama, KK, Shaan and Anu Malik, a dance competition titled  Fever Nights and a talent hunt show called Creative Countdown.



There will also be 3-day adventure sports event called

Xtreme Nexus

and a talent hunt for the best voice of Delhi with Sonu Nigam and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
